She's a butterfly with a broken wing.
He's a fire out of control.
They're stars without their glow.
They are the broken.

to fly away from the hurt she sees,
to find herself, to be real.
He follows a trend; he can't get out,
he holds a great power,

He wants change.
They know their duty,
They're held back.

I think a lot of us find ourselves in this story. We want noticed, we want valued, and those around us simply do not seem like enough. Why? We often don't know, we just know that we "feel" this way. The question may be, "how do we embrace this tension?" Good thoughts...love that!
